I just wanted to let
you know that the Yorkshire videos arrived last week in great shape.
I've watched them and thoroughly enjoyed them. I love the way they
are produced, beautiful photographs of carefully chosen subjects.
The music is also very appropriate and ties it all together beautifully.
By the straightforwardness of the presentation, you have produced
some videos which lets the beauty of the landscape and villages
dominate the final artwork. I know that it must be a challenge to
take a complex process and give it the gift of simplicity. I love
that approach. I'm already looking forward to volume three!

We have found these two videos brilliant. The
narrator was so clear. We were so dubious to buy this when we were
in Ripon Information Centre but are now very glad we did. We look
foward to Vol 3.

We are Yorkshire-addicts and spend our holidays
in Yorkshire when possible, but we could not come this year and
I was homesick so I ordered the video. It's just absolutely brilliant!!!
This was just what we needed. We enjoyed the whole video, from beginning
to the end. A really good service, the video arrived quickly.

Congratulations on the production of these videos.
The content on both is superb with a good mix of coast, dale, moorland,
towns and cities. I cannot offer any criticism and hope there will
be, relatively soon, more to follow.
M Cooper, UK.
Many thanks for sending the video, we all really
enjoyed viewing it which we have done several times already. The
picture quality is excellent and the sound is very clear - we could
hear every word, your narrator did a good job.

As an 85-year-old 'Yorkshireman in exile' (born
in Bradford in 1918), I have a soft spot for most things connected
with my native county and I think the wide coverage of the two videos
is superb. Some scenes bring back memories of teenage cycling trips
in Malham Cove, Wharfdale and Knaresborough and so on.
E Franklan, Bradford, UK.
I love to watch the videos as I have visited
most of the places on them , well done..

The following comments should be read in the
context of having originated from someone who spent the last four
years of his schooling in Yorkshire during 1966-70, and who has
returned for holidays in the County every year since.
The narrator, Alan Sykes, has a very precise clear voice, uncorrupted
by any regional accent. Before ordering the videos I was slightly
concerned that the narrator might have a Yorkshire accent –
because I am 55dB deaf in both ears, and regional accents generate
considerable trouble for deaf people!
Despite being an ‘exiled Yorkshireman’, already thoroughly
familiar with the County, I enjoyed your videos. Even though I feel
I have ‘done it all’ many times already I am still pleased
to have been able to watch your videos – I think you have
done an excellent job!

I'm happy with your service and the tape. It's
nice that you used the background music to enhance the subject.
So many times I've seen a tape where the commentary is hard to hear
because of the music volume. Interesting, when we go somewhere there
is no background music! Only the natural sound of wind or "Life".
Thank you for not making this a "music video".
D Conard, USA.
Very well done, quite up-to-date contents for
a video of this type. I enjoyed the whole thing, really brought
back memories. I was impressed with the content and quality of the
video, very well done.
